HEADTURNED Foundation is building a new kind of learning environment — one where people find a place to grow. Not in isolation, but alongside like-minded individuals who care about land and oceans, animals and habitats, and the communities who depend on them.
A Place to Learn, Build & Become
Some people spend years searching for meaningful work. Others discover it the moment they arrive.
This is where engineers, scientists, technologists, teachers, content creators, and subject-matter experts in many theatres of industry work side by side – designing solutions we can test on land and in the ocean, and then share with partners globally.
Skills with purpose. Work with impact.
The Innovation Hub will host apprenticeships, training programmes, and collaborative projects that give people a way into work that matters; whether that's engineering climate-controlled grow systems, working with animals, designing packaging, building software, or robotic and drone technologies.
Some places will be scholarship-funded, some sponsored, some self-funded. The aim is to open doors to people who might never have seen themselves in “innovation” – and then show how their skills can directly support land and oceans, animals, and communities.
Who it's for
People who want their work to matter.
We're building Learning & Careers for people who want to apply their skills to real-world projects. The Innovation Hub explores robotics, systems design, vertical farming, veterinary innovation, sustainable materials, and environmental technology. It is the engine of the Foundation.
Learning & Careers is the doorway — where individuals develop the skills, character, and capability to contribute to this work meaningfully.

We welcome learners, researchers, and professionals from all regions — not for an easy ticket, but for those who feel called to protect land, oceans, animals, and each other.
Apprenticeships & placements
Hands-on experience working on live projects across Sanctuary care, Innovation Hub builds, and Vertical Farming systems – guided by people already doing the work.
Scholarships & sponsored places
Some places will be part-funded or fully funded. We want to create routes in for people who might never have seen themselves in "innovation", but have the potential to shape it.
Partnerships with education
We're interested in working with universities, colleges and training providers on joint programmes, research projects, and field-based learning that connects classrooms to real conservation and biodiversity.

The stories, breakthroughs, and lessons from Learning & Careers will feed into HEADTURNED Insights and the PPV platform, so people can follow along, learn, and be part of the change from wherever they are.
Over time, we want to publish open guides, project blueprints, and real-world case studies that countries, governments, organisations, and community projects can adapt to their own land and context.
Learning & Careers is where those ideas start in people — and then travel through global communities.
