Mabon McCluskey
Introducing Mabon McCluskey to the world through the HEADTURNED Foundation and PPV platform is no small challenge. He steps into one of the most ambitious Media roles we will ever create, with a clear mission to give voice and clarity to everything we build. The scope is vast, and he has the full support of the Foundation as he grows into a leader who will help define how our work is seen and understood around the world.

Shaping media for the HEADTURNED Foundation
Some people study media. Others live it.
From the moment you begin speaking with Mabon McCluskey, it's clear he sits firmly in the living it group.
A media student at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David in Carmarthen, Mabon already carries the instincts of a creator who sees the world not only as it is, but as it could be. His questions go deeper. His ideas travel further. And his ambition naturally aligns with the ethos and future direction of the HEADTURNED Foundation.
Purpose
A Creative Mind Made for Purpose
What sets Mabon apart is not just technical ability, though his eye for narrative, pacing, and emotional framing is unmistakably strong. It's his intent. He is not chasing spectacle; he is building meaning.
Every conversation with him returns to one central theme:
How do we tell stories that create care, shift perspective, and move people to action?
That mindset makes him the ideal person to help shape the Foundation's emerging media identity, a voice that spans wildlife storytelling, conservation impact, sanctuary life, research, innovation, and the creative collaborations behind the PPV platform.
Leadership Journey
Point of Contact. Rising Leader. Future Head of Media.
Right now, Mabon steps into the role as the primary point of contact for all things media across the Foundation. He will work with creators, photographers, filmmakers, conservationists, and educators, helping translate their experiences into powerful narratives that reach a global audience.
But this is only the starting point.
The Foundation is committed to supporting his development, not as an intern, not as an assistant, but as a future world-leading Head of Media. As he gains experience and begins to lead projects, he will help build:
- An in-house media division
- A creative studio for documentary and field storytelling
- A multi-disciplinary team of filmmakers, editors, sound designers, and producers
- A unified media strategy across the Foundation and the PPV creator platform
He will become a voice that shapes how the world sees the work we do, and why it matters.
Role of Media
Media That Captivates Hearts and Minds
The role of media within the HEADTURNED Foundation is not ornamental. It is core to our mission.
Powerful storytelling does three vital things:
- Captures attention in a world of noise
- Builds emotional connection to animals, people, and landscapes
- Turns understanding into meaningful action
Mabon embodies all three.
His approach is rooted in empathy, detail, authenticity, and creative ambition. Whether behind a camera, developing a concept, or shaping a narrative arc, he aims to create stories that stay with people long after they finish watching.
Future Focus
Built for the Future We’re Building
The Foundation's vision is expanding rapidly, Sanctuary, Conservation, Innovation Hub, Vertical Farming, Education, and a global creative PPV ecosystem. Each of these areas demands a media presence that is as modern, bold, insightful, and emotionally resonant as the work itself.
Mabon is stepping into this future at exactly the right moment.
And as he grows, leads, and ultimately shapes the media landscape of the Foundation, his work will not only document our mission, it will define how the world experiences it.
